Our school offers self defense instruction that focuses on physical fitness, character development, and building lifelong relationships.Chinese Kempo Karate is a combination of self-defense and awareness of the vital areas of the human body which in a time of civil unrest and assaults upon individuals is of great importance. Kempo teaches one to deal instantly and effectively should a situation arise that would threaten you or your family.
Chinese Kempo Karate also makes you physically fit by increasing endurance, strength, muscle tone, and mental alertness. It is the principle of courage. Through Kempo Karate, one develops self-esteem, a positive attitude, and confidence in being able to protect yourself, thus developing courage.
Children play a significant role in martial arts and the Universal Kempo Karate Schools Association acknowledges this and has gone to great measures to develop the martial arts leaders of tomorrow. Currently, the Universal Kempo Karate Schools Association and its instructors have taught and trained thousands of children in Chinese Kempo Karate. The children take up Kempo Karate for fun, sports, and self-defense. In addition, discipline is emphasized to all children. They are taught respect for themselves and others, taught to listen to their parents, and to become better students in school by obtaining a positive attitude.
